About me

I studied Computer Science (major) and Mathematics (minor) at the University of Dortmund and earned a Diplom degree (roughly equivalent to a Master of Science).

So far, I have worked for Pinnacle (InstantCD/DVD) on video programming and feature enhancements for InstantCD/DVD; for ACE GmbH on H.264 video-compression technologies and video watermarking; and on projects such as FluxDVD which is now part of FlickRocket. I also spent time at Protect Software GmbH, which offers a variety of protection solutions like ProtectDisc. Afterward, I joined Rhenus Office Systems, where I developed internal filing-system software. Soon after, I transitioned from engineering to Product Owner for one of the teams. I am now with Planet, serving in Product Management as a Product Owner and leading the development of an identity-and-access-management module for its property-management platform.

In my spare time I enjoy being with friends, watching movies, reading, and playing computer games. I also like sports such as cycling and badminton. Of course, I work on other computer projects as well – each freely available:

Exact Audio Copy is developed on Windows 11 in Stony Brook Modula-2, with some components in C++ and C#. For my other projects I mainly use C# and Vue.js with TypeScript.
